How long does installation take?
Most EV charger installations take about two to three hours once the electrician arrives. If your panel needs upgrades or you request a longer cable run, it may take slightly longer. Either way, you get a fast, clean install with full testing before we leave.
Do I qualify for the BC Hydro rebate?
Yes, if you live in a qualifying home type and install a Level 2 charger, you can receive up to six hundred dollars back. SOLVE handles the documentation and walks you through the steps so you get the full eligible rebate.
What type of charger should I choose?
If you want the fastest home charging and future proofing, we recommend a Level 2 48A charger. It gives you about 30 to 40 kilometers of range per hour, depending on your vehicle. If you are not sure which model fits your home or panel capacity, we guide you to the best option after a quick review.
Do I need a panel upgrade?
Not always. Many homes have enough capacity for a Level 2 charger. SOLVE checks your home’s electrical panel during the booking process. If you do need an upgrade, we provide a clear quote and options.
Can the charger be installed in any location?
You can choose the install location as long as it meets electrical and safety requirements. Most homeowners install it in the garage or on an exterior wall. We make recommendations based on cable length, convenience, and cost.
What is included in the installation price?
Your installation includes a certified electrician, permits if required, professional installation, cable routing, a clean finish, and a full functionality test. You also get support from our team if you ever need help after the install.
